Alissa Figueroa is a Baltimore-based journalist, filmmaker, and lecturer at Morgan State University. Her first documentary, Prison Kids, won a half-dozen prizes, was nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy Award, and was a finalist for the Livingston Award. Her second, Rigged, was recognized with the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award.
Jameka Autry produced the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award winner, Through the Night, Emmy Award-winning Ernie & Joe: Crisis Cops, and Marathon: The Patriots Day Bombing. Past fellowships include: Sundance Catalyst, Ford Foundation/JustFilms Rockwood Leadership, Women at Sundance, and Sundance Creative Producing Fellowship.
